An extended meeting on the implementation of the transformation program of «KazMunayGas - Processing and Marketing» JSC under the chairmanship of the head of «Samruk-Kazyna» JSC Umirzak Shukeyev took place at the site of Shymkent refinery. The meeting was attended by Director General of «KMG-PM» JSC D.Tiesov, management of «PetroKazakhstan Oil Products», representatives of «KMG Global Solutions”. 

D. Tiesov informed that KMG-PM completed «training and mobilization» phase of the transformation program. The company carried out significant work in preparation for the main stages of the transformation program. The team was formed, organizational management structure was determined, Transformation Roadmap of KMG-PM was approved.

«Our task is to bring all started processes of transformation to its logical conclusion following the methodology of «Samruk-Kazyna». We have to approve the transformation program of KMG-PM and reach the level of world refinery with well aligned business processes and unified clear management structure, both in the factories and in the corporate center, a developed retail network of petrol stations world-class and generation of oil, corresponding to European standards,» D.Tiesov said.

Within the meeting participants were presented information on main development project of KMG-PM. One of the key projects to stabilize oil products market is Single Dispatcher center. Functioning and analytic work of the Center is based on collection and analyzing information: volume of delivery and processing oil at every refinery, monitoring of oil production import: control of oil product at warehouses; provision of oil products to petrol stations and retail sale-everything on daily basis.

One of the direction of the program is transfer of the petrol stations to the entrepreneurs preserving KMG brand, supply of oil products and quality standards. 143 petrol stations out of 324 of «KazMunayGas» were handed over to the SME.

Work on the transformation has touched all aspects of KMG-PM group. In addition to the modernization of equipment at factories reengineering of business processes has launched. The essence of the program is to keep the main production and bring all other processes in a competitive environment.

To improve the efficiency and quality of petroleum products modern technology has been introduced, production of new products has started in the framework of the modernization of the refinery.

General Director of KMG-PM briefed on the ongoing work on other transformation projects - the centralization of certain functions and harmonization of organizational structures in the factories, the introduction of an increase in refinery as well as promising new directions of the company.

Summarizing the meeting, Mr Shukeyev noted that the transformation processes in KMG-PM are in full swing, and the company's experience is very valuable to the whole group of companies.
