Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov held a meeting with Bao Jianmin, Vice President of CITIC Group Corporation.

CITIC Group is one of the Fund’s key partners in Kazakhstan, it was noted at the meeting. For many years, the Fund’s portfolio companies and CITIC have been implementing joint projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical and infrastructure sectors.

The parties discussed further development of their strategic partnership and new areas of cooperation.

CITIC Group is a major state-owned conglomerate engaged in financial and banking services, insurance, and investment in industry and construction, as well as the energy, transport and telecommunications sectors.
