On October 14, a meeting with representatives of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, JSC NC KazMunayGas, Kazpost JSC, Kazakhstan stock exchanges AIX, KASE and broker-dealer organizations took place in Almaty as part of the information and explanatory work on the IPO program of JSC NC KazMunayGas. 

The participants of the event spoke about the implementation of the privatization program and IPO of portfolio companies, shared key information about the first IPO candidate - KazMunayGas, as well as about the mechanisms and risks of investing in the securities market. Gibrat Auganov, the Managing Director for Public Relations, Social and Labor Relations and Occupational Safety of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, noted the scale of awareness-raising activities throughout Kazakhstan. 

“Today in Almaty we are completing the information campaign that was launched on September 16 in the Mangystau region. More than 120 meetings were held with participation of over 100 thousand residents of the republic. We have covered all regions, almost all cities of Kazakhstan. We are holding such an event for the first time”, - Gibrat Auganov said. 

He also noted that within the framework of the IPO, priority will be given to retail investors, that is, citizens of Kazakhstan. The shares of JSC NC KazMunayGas are planned to place on two Kazakhstan sites at once: KASE and AIX. According to the updated strategy of JSC NC KazMunayGas until 2031, the company plans to increase oil production, develop exploration and petrochemical projects. The meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue. Participants and media representatives received answers to their questions.
