The Samruk-Kazyna Fund has increased funding for the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Charitable Fund, which helps Kazakhstanis on behalf of all companies of the Fund Group. Gibrat Auganov, the Managing Director of the Fund for Public Relations, Social and Labor Relations and Occupational Safety, told about this at today's press briefing.

Budget transparency

In 2021, the budget of Samruk-Kazyna Trust amounted to about KZT7 billion, this year - KZT10 billion. Currently, 44 charity projects are implemented to help 370 thousand Kazakhstanis, including 48 thousand children.

The Fund adheres to the principles of transparency and openness to society: its official website has recently been updated, where any NGO can apply for funding in one click.

In addition, the site contains data on all approved projects with detailed information about their performers, financing and deadlines.

Support for children and regions

When choosing charitable initiatives, the Fund gives preference to supporting children and projects in the regions of Kazakhstan. For example, in maternity hospitals across the country, hypothermia devices are installed at the Fund’s expense to save babies.

They have already been delivered to Shymkent, Karaganda, Taldykorgan, Aktau, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Uralsk.  For 1.5 years, it was possible to save the lives of 22 babies. Another important project this year to support the regions is the launch of the medical trains ‘Zhardem’ and ‘Salamatty Kazakhstan’.

Each of them employs highly qualified doctors of the most sought-after specialties. For six months, they visit remote stations all over Kazakhstan and receive local residents free. Citizens can not only undergo an examination, ultrasound, ECG, but also take tests and get the necessary prescriptions. For 4 months, doctors of medical trains received more than 62 thousand Kazakhstanis.
