Representatives of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund, JSC NC KazMunayGas and Kazpost JSC on September 20 presented to the employees of Ekibastuz GRES-1 and GRES-2, as well as workers of the coal mine of Bogatyr Komir LLP opportunities for participation in the IPO program. 

The representatives of Kazakhstan broker-dealer organizations and stock exchanges AIX and KASE also participated in the event. The experts introduced to the residents the progress of the Samruk-Kazyna privatization program and the IPO of portfolio companies, including key information about the first IPO candidate - JSC NC KazMunayGas. The organizers answered the questions of the participants of the meeting. 

Representatives of brokerage organizations spoke about the specifics of the Fund’s current IPO program. Thus, both citizens and residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as institutional and international investors can participate in the program. At the same time, the priority right will be granted to individuals – citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

They also warned potential investors about the threat of fraud and recommended checking the broker's license on the websites of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange KASE and Stock Exchange Astana International Exchange (AIX). 

Recall that informational and explanatory meetings with the population, employees of companies and employees of production facilities will be held in more than 60 cities across the country from September 16 to 30, 2022.
