Samruk-Kazyna and Akimat of Aktobe region agreed to cooperate in the regulation of social and labor relations. 

The corresponding memorandum was signed at a meeting of the Fund’s delegation headed by Gibrat Auganov, the Managing Director for Public Relations, Social and Labor Relations and Occupational Safety with Yeraly Tugzhanov, the Head of the region. According to the signed document, all controversial issues in the social and labor sphere arising in Samruk-Kazyna portfolio companies in the Aktobe region, especially labor disputes between employees and top managers, will be settled with participation of representatives of the Fund. 

Samruk-Kazyna assures that it will inform the Akimat about them, and also undertakes to assist the Akimat, trade unions, associations of employers and large companies in the region in determining the Social Stability Index (SRS). In addition, representatives of the Fund will hold training seminars for trade union leaders and representatives of the conciliation commission within the framework of the project “Corporate School of Trade Union activists”.  

“In 2017-2022, we have implemented many social projects in the Aktobe region. KZT1.7 billion has been allocated for this purpose. We are ready to continue working in this direction. This year we have a number of projects that we intend to implement together with the Akimat and NGOs,” - Gibrat Auganov said. During the visit to Aktobe region, the delegation of Samruk-Kazyna also met with the labor collectives of the Fund’s portfolio enterprises in the region, with business representatives, ERG Kazchrome (Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant), employees of education and medicine.
