To revise upwards, approve the KPIs on the local content and take personal control of the performance of the indicator for local content - this task was set for the CEOs of portfolio companies by the Head of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Almassadam Satkaliyev at the meeting on implementation of the Plan for reforming the Fund.  

Also, the Head of the Fund warned top managers about personal responsibility for violations committed during procurement and reminded that all the revealed facts will be transferred by the Fund to law enforcement agencies. The CEO instructed to optimize costs for all companies of the Fund group and check all the facts of salary increases for administrative and managerial personnel. The Internal Audit Service was instructed to check the management’s expenses, including foreign business trips and representative expenses.  

The Heads of portfolio companies were set with personal tasks. JSC NC KazMunayGas was instructed to take measures to diversify oil supplies, work out the optimal option for implementation of the Trans-Caspian route and increase the capacity of the Atyrau-Kenkiyak and Kenkiyak-Kumkol oil pipelines. 

Air Astana - to take all necessary effective measures as soon as possible to change the current situation with constant delays and cancellations of flights, to operate a system of advance notification of passengers about flight changes in the company. In addition, the management of JSC NC QazaqGaz was instructed to study the feasibility of building a liquefied gas production plant for gasification of the northern regions of the country by the end of the year, and Samruk-Energy to make proposals for the further development of Ekibastuz GRES-2 with the completion of block No. 3 and the construction of blocks No. 4 and No. 5.
