Develop Social Partnership. Samruk-Kazyna JSC and Akimat of Atyrau Region to Have Signed the Memorandum on Mutual Cooperation in the field of Regulation of Social and Labor Relations

Atyrau. March 16, 2022. The delegation of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, represented by Gibrat Auganov, the Managing Director for Public Relations and Change Management, Kadyrbek Igizbayev, the Head of the Social and Labor Relations Sector, and Yeldos Umirzakov, the General Director of the CSIC, visited Atyrau region. 

The Fund’s management met with Serik Aidarbekov, the First Deputy Head of the region and signed a Memorandum on cooperation in the field of regulation of social and labor relations and development of social partnership. This document assumes that from now problematic issues, and especially labor disputes between employees and top managers arising in the Fund’s portfolio companies, will not remain within the companies.

Samruk-Kazyna JSC will be involved in all such issues and, together with the local executive authorities, will help resolve emerging labor disputes. Discussion and analysis of such situations will be open. In addition, this document, certified by the management of the Fund and Serik Aidarbekov, the First Deputy Akim of Atyrau region is designed to promote the effective development of the social and labor sphere and implementation of social initiatives. The Fund has committed itself to assist the Akimat, employers’ associations and representatives of large manufacturing companies in the region, as well as trade unions in disseminating experience in determining the Social Stability Index. 

In addition, Samruk-Kazyna JSC will conduct training seminars for leaders of trade union organizations and representatives of conciliation commissions within the framework of the project “Corporate School of Trade Union Activists”. 

On the same day, the delegation of Samruk-Kazyna JSC met with employees of EmbaMunayGas JSC, ANPZ, Tengizchevroil and NCOC.
