Today in Ekibastuz, President Tokayev held a meeting on the development of single-towns.

There are three largest core enterprises, which are part of Samruk-Kazyna Holding. More than 10,000 people work at Ekibastuz State District Power Station 1, Power Station 2, and Bogatyr Komir. 

There are 46 companies of the Samruk-Kazyna Group and their subsidiaries in 27 single towns. The total staffing level exceeds 33 thousand. Five enterprises that make up the Samruk-Kazyna Holding are the leading employers and taxpayers of the Ekibastuz, Zhanaozen, and Aksai regions.

Samruk-Kazyna CEO Almassadam Satkaliyev announced those data at the meeting in Ekibastuz. In his report, it is stated that in support of the local suppliers in single towns, Samruk-Kazyna secured orders from suppliers totaling about KZT 395 billion, including 183 projects in Ekibastuz costing some KZT 60 billion.

In addition, the Head of Samruk-Kazyna said that since 2016, the Found had implemented 76 social projects in 22 single towns, totally more than KZT 2,5 billion.
