The CEO of Samruk-Kazyna discussed ways of cooperation partnership with Azerbaijan Investment Holding General Executive Director Ruslan Alikhanov in Nur-Sultan. 

Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and Azerbaijan Railway plan to open the joint venture. Carriers of two countries implement the project within the framework of the Trans-Caspian International Transportation Route to ensure the best possible multimodal and transport logistics services from China to Turkey and the ports of the Black Sea.

It was suggested that considering the possibility of a further attraction of Kazakh jack-ups in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, including SOCAR projects.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties concluded a Memorandum on increasing cooperation. Samruk-Kazyna CEO Almassadam Satkaliyev noted that the memorandum signing today would allow for a qualitatively new level of interaction and provide a basis for the growth of the two economies.
