On February 13, 2018, the first tranche of KZT 5 billion was transferred under the trilateral agreement between Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Corporate Fund Tourism and Sports Industry Support Fund. According to the document, monitoring the use of these funds by the Corporate Fund lies with the Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The following tranches will be formed quarterly according to the preliminary applications of the Corporate Fund.

Thus, Samruk-Kazyna did not stop financing high performance sports and national sports in Kazakhstan.
