President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in his annual Address to the people of Kazakhstan, published on the official website of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, instructed to "reload" the financial sector.

“It is important to further improve the investment climate and the development of the stock market within the framework of the Astana International Financial Centre”, the Head of State noted.

"Using the best international experience, it should become a regional hub, applying English law and adopting modern financial technologies," the President instructed.

Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed that "the successful listing of Samruk Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund companies through the initial public offering (IPO) will also contribute to the development of the stock market."
