«NC» “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” JSC to sell shares of «TransTelecom» JSC

«NC» “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” JSC has announced an open two-stage competitive bidding for the sale of one share less than 26% stock of shares in «TransTelecom» JSC.

The starting price for the block of shares is KZT 9.4 billion.

Under the terms of «NC» Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” JSC, the potential buyer must save the profile of activities, fulfil the credit obligations and comply with the terms of the collective agreement.

 At the first stage, the applications are accepted until 10:00 am December 29, 2016.

 Results of the second stage of the bidding will be announced on February 10, 2017.

 Potential bidders can familiarize with the asset portfolio in the Data room after signing a confidentiality agreement.

26% shares but one of «TransTelecom» JSC are put up for sale as part of the Comprehensive privatization plan for 2016-2020. The implementation mechanism has been agreed with the State Commission for the modernization of Kazakhstan's economy.

In May 2015, as a part of the Comprehensive privatization plan for 2014-2016 «NC» “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy» JSC sold 49% of shares of «TransTelecom» JSC for KZT 8.94 billion with a starting price of KZT 6.82 billion.

«TransTelecom» JSC provides telecommunication, information and communication services. It is located in Astana.
