The top management of CDC Malaysia was invited by the Chairman of the Board of «Samruk-Kazyna» Umirzak Shukeyev with the purpose to share its best experience with HR-specialists of the Fund and its portfolio companies. CDC Malaysia’s main activities are focused on the employment of workers, whose positions are subject to optimization.
During his presentation, the CEO of the Malaysian company Shahryn Azmi talked about the adaptation programme for dismissed employees, covering such topics as retraining of staff, job search assistance, entrepreneurship development, creation of favorable conditions for early retirement and so on.
«In fact, a very large part of the workforce is able to change jobs and activity, but only if they are sure that they have the innate ability to perform well in any job. The only huge challenge in the process of retraining of personnel is a psychological barrier,»- said Shahryn Azmi.
