Samruk-Kazyna Maintains Growth in Key Financial and Operational Indicators

A meeting of the Public Council of Samruk-Kazyna JSC dedicated to the Fund’s financial results was held in Astana under the chairmanship of Bolat Zhamishev.

The key financial indicators for the first six months of 2026 showed positive growth compared with the same period last year, with revenue increasing by 21%, net profit by 18%, and EBITDA by 15%, said Aidar Ryskulov, Managing Director for Economics and Finance at Samruk-Kazyna JSC.

Positive dynamics were also recorded across a number of operational indicators, including uranium production, freight turnover and transit.

Samruk-Kazyna ranks among the Top 21 largest sovereign wealth funds in the world by assets, according to the 2025 SWFI ranking. The Fund’s assets have demonstrated steady growth, increasing from KZT 33.6 trillion in 2022 to KZT 46.7 trillion as of the end of the first half of 2026, representing an average annual growth rate of 10%. From January to June 2026, assets grew by approximately 5%, in line with the average growth rate, Aidar Ryskulov noted.

Among the Fund’s key priorities are further increasing the value and net assets of its portfolio companies, as well as supporting the attraction of foreign direct investment into Kazakhstan’s economy.

The Fund’s financial stability is also confirmed by international credit ratings: Fitch Ratings – BBB, Outlook: Stable; Moody’s – Baa1, Outlook: Stable.
