The meeting covered the plant’s production performance and progress on its investment programme, which is being implemented ahead of schedule.

The Aktobe Ferroalloy Plant is Kazakhstan’s first ferrous metallurgy enterprise. It comprises three smelting shops, a converter unit and a slag processing shop.

The plant has a design capacity of 740,000 tonnes of ferroalloys per year. Its products are exported to China, Japan, South Korea, the United States, European countries and the CIS.
