The document was signed by Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna, and Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Crown Prince of Oman.

The agreement formalizes the parties’ intention to expand investment cooperation. The sides plan to invest in operating companies and projects in Kazakhstan and Oman across key sectors, including industry, healthcare, energy, consumer sector, logistics and mining.

It also provides for cooperation through a joint investment platform, the establishment of a joint venture or an investment fund, as well as other partnership formats.

The agreement is expected to support capital inflows, advance joint projects and strengthen economic ties between Kazakhstan and Oman.
