The Head of the Fund, Nurlan Zhakupov, met with Lin Xiaodan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Energy China Overseas Investment.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation and the progress of joint projects between the Samruk-Kazyna Group and Energy China in the field of renewable energy.

In particular, the Fund and the company are implementing a 300 MW solar power plant in the Turkestan Region and a 500 MW wind power plant in the Karaganda Region.

Energy China is one of the world’s largest companies in coal mining, thermal power, wind energy, coal processing, and the water sector.
