The ceremony took place today in the regional center. The two-story facility, with a total area of 2,000 square meters, will include halls for various sports, a 100-seat stand, a gym, as well as auxiliary facilities.
“Similar complexes will also be built this year in the cities of Arkalyk, Konaev and Semey. In addition, Samruk-Kazyna will continue implementing an important initiative to construct inclusive sports centers in several regions of the country. The first such center this year has already been opened in Aktobe,” said Gibrat Auganov, Managing Director of the Fund.
Approximately KZT 1.6 billion is planned to be allocated for the project. Construction of the complex is being financed through Samruk-Kazyna’s unified charity operator, Samruk-Kazyna Trust.
To date, 19 sports complexes are operating under the Group, providing opportunities for more than 700,000 people to engage in sports.
