He held a working meeting at the construction site, where the management of Samruk-Energy JSC and AlES JSC reported on the current stage of construction and the supply of basic equipment.

Construction and installation works are in progress at the facility, technological equipment is supplied and the station infrastructure is being prepared.

Following the visit, Nurlan Zhakupov gave a number of instructions, emphasizing the need for strict adherence to the work schedule and ensuring timely commissioning of the facility.

After the reconstruction, the installed capacity of the station will be 544 MW of electric and 160 Gcal/hour of thermal energy.

The facility is scheduled to commission in December 2026.
