Mr. Jean-Guy Afrika, CEO of the Rwanda Development Board, Ms. Alice Uwase, CEO of the Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas Board, and Mr. Joseph Butera, CEO of Ngali Holdings Ltd. participated in the meeting.

During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the mining industry and development of joint projects in the field of exploration.

The Head of Samruk-Kazyna noted that the visit of Rwandan President Paul Kagame to Kazakhstan in 2025 opened a new stage of bilateral cooperation.

Following the meeting, Tau-Ken Samruk JSC and Ngali Holdings signed the Term Sheet. The document provides for joint development of deposits of rare and rare-earth metals in Rwanda.
