As part of the official visit of the Head of State to Japan, Nurlan Zhakupov, Head of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund, met with Mr. Michio Daito, President of the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) and Mr. Hiroshi Kubota, Vice President of JOGMEC in Tokyo.

During the meeting, they marked the key role of JOGMEC in ensuring Japan’s resource security and confirmed mutual interest in developing investment cooperation in Kazakhstan.

The Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) is a Japanese government organization established to ensure stable supplies of mineral and energy resources, as well as to strengthen the country’s resource security.
