Samruk-Kazyna JSC and the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan (UFRD) have signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement aimed at developing a strategic partnership and creating a joint investment platform for the implementation of projects in key sectors of the economy.

The agreement opens up new opportunities for joint investments in such areas as metallurgy, mining, transport, logistics and others.

The parties have agreed on:

• search and development of new investment opportunities;
• exchange of information on current and prospective projects.

The signing of the agreement is an important step in strengthening economic ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, contributing to the growth of mutual investments and development of long-term partnership between the two countries.
