As part of the presidential initiative Taza Qazaqstan, the Samruk-Kazyna group of companies is continuing its large-scale environmental program.
Today, another eco-initiative took place at 17 “Comfort Schools” across the capital. Representatives of the Fund and its portfolio companies, together with schoolchildren, planted trees on school grounds. Adults shared an important lesson with the younger generation — the importance of caring for nature and taking responsibility for the environment.
“As part of the Taza Qazaqstan initiative announced by the Head of State, the Fund set an ambitious goal at the beginning of 2025 — to plant one million trees. Today, we are taking another step toward achieving this goal. This is our contribution to the health of our children and to Kazakhstan’s sustainable environmental future,” said Nurlan Zhakuрov, CEO of Samruk-Kazyna.
Since the beginning of the year, the Fund has conducted more than 1,500 events and campaigns across various regions of the country under the Taza Qazaqstan program.
