The Head of Samruk-Kazyna, Nurlan Zhakupov, to Meet with Ms. Alice Uwase, CEO of Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas Board (RMB) and Mr. Joseph Butera, CEO of Ngali Holdings

The parties discussed the prospects of potential cooperation.

“We highly appreciate the opportunities opening up in Rwanda and are deeply grateful for your constructive approach to developing this partnership”, - Zhakupov said at the meeting.

In May 2025, the Samruk-Kazyna Fund and RMB signed a cooperation agreement, which involves exploring the possibilities of selling beryllium raw materials extracted in Rwanda for the needs of JSC NAC Kazatomprom.

RMB is a government agency responsible for the regulation and management of mining, oil and gas.

Ngali Holdings is a state-owned investment company specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects in Africa.
