The event “Italy meets Kazakhstan. The Event Uniting Italian and Kazakh Companies”, organized by Cassa Deposi e Prestiti (CDP) in partnership with the Italian Embassy in Astana, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), etc. was held on July 16.

The event brought together representatives of leading companies and business associations of Italy and Kazakhstan, as well as government agencies of the two countries interested in strengthening economic cooperation and finding new points of interaction.

The main topic of the event was the prospects for expanding trade and investment between Italy and Kazakhstan in key sectors such as energy, industry, infrastructure and technology.

Saltanat Satzhan, Managing Director of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, made a speech. In her address, she noted that the depth and diversity of cooperation between the two countries in priority areas of the economy reflect a high level of trust, mutual respect and a common desire for development. Saltanat Satzhan also highlighted the fruitful partnership of Samruk-Kazyna Group with leading Italian companies — Eni, Ansaldo Energia and Maire Tecnimont, which make a significant contribution to the development of key sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan.
