Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, held a meeting with Bai Yinzhang, President of China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd.

The parties discussed the development of cooperation in infrastructural construction. China Harbour is implementing a project to build a container hub in Aktau. On June 9, a launch ceremony was held for the first start-up complex of the hub, which was completed ahead of schedule, indicating the high efficiency and coordination of the joint work of the parties, Nurlan Zhakupov emphasized.

He welcomed the signing of a memorandum of understanding with China Harbour within the framework of the Central Asia-China Forum. He expressed his hope that the document would boost cooperation between companies, particularly in the areas of infrastructure and energy.

China Harbour Engineering Company is a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), a leading global infrastructure contractor. It acts as the main subdivision of CCCC for the development and management of overseas activities.
