Nurlan Zhakupov, the Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC congratulated employees of the company on their anniversary.

“Production of FA (fuel assemblies), fuel for nuclear power plants, is a vivid proof that Kazakhstan is capable to implement high-tech projects. For me personally, it was particularly memorable when, in October 2023, while visiting a nuclear power plant in Yangtze city, I saw with my own eyes the pills produced at our plant being loaded into the reactor. It was a special moment that demonstrated how significant our contribution to the global nuclear sector is,” the Head of the Fund said.

Ulba Metallurgical Plant is part of JSC NAC Kazatomprom. The company was founded in 1949 and is currently one of the largest producers of uranium, beryllium and tantalum products.
