The Head of the Fund, Nurlan Zhakupov, held talks with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNPC, Yu Jianfeng.

China National Nuclear Corporation, or CNNC, is a large energy holding company in the field of nuclear energy, with access to the full nuclear fuel cycle. The Fund’s portfolio company Kazatomprom and CNNC are long-term partners in the supply of natural uranium for the needs of China’s nuclear power plants.

At the meeting, Zhakupov noted that Samruk-Kazyna is interested in continuing joint work on mutually beneficial terms.
