On September 25 of this year, the management of the Fund met with Mr. Andreas Matta, the Chairman of the Management Board of ÖBB-Holding (Austrian Railways).

The parties discussed the current trends in the development of transit routes. According to the Head of the Fund, there is a high interest on the part of European partners in international transport corridors passing through Kazakhstan, including the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.

Among the promising areas, the possibility of cooperation between the logistics operators of two holdings – Rail Cargo Group and KTZ Express was noted.

Further discussion of these issues is planned in early October during the VI International Transport and Logistics Business Forum “New Silk Way” in Astana.
