The Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov held a meeting with young specialists of the Fund’s Group of Companies on participation in the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve. The Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs Darkhan Zhazykbayev and representatives of the PYPR also attended the meeting.

Nurlan Zhakupov stressed the special importance of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve in the formation of a pool of strong managers. “The HR policy of the Fund and our portfolio companies takes into account necessarily the presence of participation in the PYPR when considering candidates for leadership positions. Therefore, if you want to have an undeniable competitive advantage, welcome to the Personnel Reserve. This is a sign of the quality of a specialist’s competence”, - the Head of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund said. Currently, 36 members of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve work in the Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies. Eight of them are in the Fund itself, two - Yernat Berdigulov and Gibrat Auganov - are managing directors.

Gibrat Auganov, the Managing Director for Corporate Governance, Social and Labor Relations and Occupational Safety of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, told about his experience of participation in the PMKR. “Only 300 of 13 thousand applicantswere success. It was a difficult test at all stages of selection. You should not count immediately on leadership positions. I would like to warn you that this does not happen immediately. However, thanks to this presidential program, excellent prospects are opening up for young people. Don’t miss them”, - Auganov said. More than 80 thousand specialists under the age of 35 work in the Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies. 51 employees of the front office of the Fund meet the requirements of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve.
