The grand opening of a new sports and recreation complex was held in Kostanay region with the support of the Samruk-Kazyna JSC Group of Companies. Also, the Head of the Fund handed the keys to the equipped reanimobile to the Chief Doctor of the Auliekol Central District Hospital.

Kumar Aksakalov, the Akim of the region, took part in the opening ceremony of the multifunctional complex together with Nurlan Zhakupov. The guests talked with young athletes, veterans and villagers. The single charitable operator of the Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies, the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Foundation, pays special attention to social projects in healthcare, education, culture, mass sports, as well as support for socially vulnerable categories of citizens.

“We all remember how forests burned in the Auliekol district a year ago. And at a critical moment, Kazakhstanis threw all their efforts to help the victims. Our Fund also provided assistance to compatriots. After determining the amount of damage caused and the existing need for the population of the village, we immediately began construction of a sports facility, and today we are happy to hand it over to the residents of Amankaragai”, - Nurlan Zhakupov, the Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, said.

The sports and recreation complex for more than KZT734 million 480 thousand is designed for sports competitions and training events in volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, wrestling. The two-storey structure with an area of more than 1000 square meters is equipped with a grandstand for 100 spectator seats, places for storing sports equipment, rooms for coaches and security guards, locker rooms, showers, as well as high-quality flooring. There is an emergency evacuation system, a medical center, staff quarters and a gym.

The Samruk-Kazyna Group of Companies has financed the construction of multi-profile sports complexes in the village of Amankaragai, which we are opening today, and in the village of Denisovka, which we plan to open by the end of the year. I congratulate the residents of the Auliekol district on today’s joyful event!” – the Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov said.

During the event, the Auliekol District Central Hospital was given the keys to the C class  reanimobile equipped with special equipment to save the lives of patients during transportation to the hospital, which meets the requirements of the order of the Ministry of Health No. ДСМ -225/2020 dated November 30, 2020. Earlier, the Fund provided ambulances and invataxis to the regions of Ulytau, Abai, Zhetysu and Turkestan region. In the future, several more reanimobiles will be transferred to medical institutions of the Akmola region.

Within the framework of charitable activities carried out by the Samruk-Kazyna JSC Group of Companies through the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Fund, 12 projects totaling KZT1.6 billion were implemented in Kostanai region in 2019-2023. These include the installation of universal sports and playgrounds, the opening of inclusive educational and rehabilitation centers, psychological and pedagogical correction rooms, as well as construction of a sports complex based on air support structures and others.
