During the official opening of the branch, the Chairman of the Management Board Nurlan Zhakupov noted that the international center “Khorgos” is attractive as a trade, economic, tourist, investment center. The opening of a branch of Kazpost on the territory of neighboring states is a new opportunity not only for Kazakhstanis in terms of services, but also for the development of the company itself.

At the site of the national postal operator, customers will be able to use the service for receiving and issuing luggage weighing up to 30 kg - from the receiver point to the pick-up point at the Khorgos ICBC, as well as arrange delivery of this cargo throughout Kazakhstan. Up to 3-4 thousand people pass through the border every day. This flow will have a positive impact on the level of service, - Kazpost is confident. Including financial services: visitors to the branch can pay bills on the spot, repay duties, fines, exchange currency and make money transfers. According to the forecast, the income will be at least KZT630 million per year.

Now the visitors of the Khorgos ICBC will have a convenient and fast service for the delivery and receipt of luggage, bypassing crossing the border with it. Kazpost assumes this function.
