Today, within the framework of the large-scale events dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Astana hosted another safety workshop for the children of employees of the Fund and the portfolio companies.

The training was held with support of Air Astana JSC and KazakhtelecomJSC at the base of the Aviation Technical Center and special aircraft hangar.Teenagers aged 13 to 16 were invited to participate in this event.

50 children had the opportunity to get acquainted with the flight safety, seethe flight deck, and learn what emergency equipment looks like, what energy helps the plane to take off, what the purpose of the wings and how the board is checked before each flight. Besides that, they got acquainted with various safety aspects, including the basic road traffic regulations, fire safety regulations, protection from the strangers.

“The uniqueness of this event lies in the fact that the children have learned firsthand the importance and subtle aspects in ensuring safety on the aircraft board. Children are our future, and we must use our best efforts to instill safety culture in their daily lives”- Gibrat Auganov said, the Managing Director for Public Relations, Social and Labor Relations and Occupational Safety of Samruk-Kazyna JSC.

According to the Fund, similar events will be conducted until the end of this year.
