At the invitation of the Deputy Group, the management of Samruk-Kazyna JSC has delivered a presentation of the Fund’s work in several directions: 
- development of the state language;
- implementation of the “Comfortable School” national project; 
- work of the center for scientific and technological initiatives;
- support of social projects and charity.

Almassadam Satkaliyev, the CEO of the Fund, spoke about the important achievements and reforms carried out in 2022. He particularly noted the successful implementation of the People’s IPO project, as well as the launch of a number of important productions: the first integrated gas chemical complex in Atyrau region, a 60MW wind power station in the Shelek corridor, modernization and installation of gas re-injection compressors at Kashagan. Four projects have created more than 660 jobs in the regions.  

The Fund continues to create large infrastructure projects in the field of supplying citizens with water, gas, and electricity. 

Important changes have been made in ensuring the transparency of the Fund and Portfolio Companies in terms of procurement, recruitment and accountability to public. 

During the question and answer session, the Deputies received detailed explanations on topical issues of energy, aviation, and the development of social initiatives of the public. Recommendations were given on certain topics, as well as written responses were requested. All questions will be included in the Minutes for further implementation. 

The meeting lasted more than two hours. As Yedil Zhanbyrshin, the co-Chairman of “Zhana Kazakhstan” Deputy Group has noted, this format of the event is being held in the Majilis for the first time. It is the implementation of the principle of a “powerful parliament” declared by the Head of State. The Deputies expressed their readiness to continue discussing topical issues of the flagship of the national economy and actively cooperate with the Fund. 

In turn, the CEO of the Fund thanked the Parliamentarians for their professional attention to the activities of Samruk-Kazyna JSC and expressed interest in further cooperation.
