On August 19, Gibrat Auganov, Managing Director for Public Relations, Social and Labor Relations and Labor Protection of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, has taken part in the ceremony of awarding certificates of completion of the course to graduates of the Corporate School of Trade Union Activists in Almaty.

“Corporate School of Trade Union Activists of Samruk-Kazyna JSC is a comprehensive educational project aimed at the development of professional trade union workers of a new formation. The project has been implemented for more than five years by the Center for Social Interaction and Communications of Samruk-Kazyna JSC.

Today, the employers of the Fund group of companies are interested in ensuring that the company operates stably, and employees are concerned with the protection of their rights at a high level. This requires a dialogue. Trade unions are an excellent example of a dialogue platform. And this has been repeatedly confirmed by world experience. That is why the training program focuses on such methods as conflict management, mediation, the psychology of effective communication, the formation of a collective agreement. Much attention is paid to the step-by-step algorithm for creating a trade union and forming a collective agreement.

“At School, pro-activists are taught in the bud to prevent the occurrence of controversial situations, and not to deal with their consequences. The School’s program also contains training in mediation that is in demand today. As you know, the Samruk-Kazyna Mediator Pool project has been launched in March this year. The training took place in Nur-Sultan and Almaty. 102 employees from various subsidiaries of the Fund group have been trained. Our ultimate goal of working in this direction is to ensure that each enterprise of the Fund group of companies has its own certified negotiator who is able to identify and resolve conflicts in a timely manner,” Gibrat Auganov believes.

In the period from 2018 to 2021, the CSIC trained more than 300 trade union employees of the Fund group of companies throughout Kazakhstan. On August 19, 2022, 80 more trade union leaders have completed their training.
