The management of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund held an online meeting with businessmen on procurement issues. The event was attended by over 200 business representatives, top managers of the Fund, and heads of portfolio companies. 

The online meeting participants noted the advantages of the Fund's procurement system in terms of supporting domestic manufacturers. According to the entrepreneurs, state procurements are developed considering the WTO and EAEU norms and do not stimulate local production. Meanwhile, the Samruk-Kazyna procurement system contributes to the development of local content. 

At the same time, businessmen expressed wishes to improve the procurement system in supporting long-term contracts, fair pricing, matching price to quality, the priority of quality over cost, etc.

The Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna, Almasadam Satkaliyev, answered every question and assured businessmen that all recommendations would be aggregated, systematized and taken into account until the adoption of new procurement rules for the Fund and portfolio companies.
