The import substitution program of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC provided the creation of more than 2 thousand jobs in the industrial sector through the implementation of 54 new projects with an investment volume of 220 billion tenge. 

"Samruk-Kazyna" JSC has been implementing an Import Substitution program since 2018, which encourages the creation of new production facilities.

On the basis of long-term offtake contracts, the domestic business is invited to establish the production of new products, with subsequent purchase by the group of companies of the Fund.  

The approved pool of goods for import substitution consists of 707 commodity items totaling 323 billion tenge. 

106 offtake contracts were concluded for a total amount of 77 billion tenge. 

As of June 2021, enterprises that have established the production of import-substituting products have paid 18 billion tenge in taxes to the budget. 

In addition, 2 memoranda of intent were signed for a total amount of 2.2 billion tenge (supply of transformers for "KEGOC" JSC and signaling for railway carriage of "NC "KTZ" JSC).

Recall that a year ago, the svoyzavod.kz website was opened to support new production programs, where Kazakhstani entrepreneurs and commodity producers can apply for participation in the program.
