The Group of Companies of Samruk-Kazyna JSC launches the second wave of Digital Summer Internship Program.
The Program provides the students of local universities with the opportunity to take internship in the Fund’s Group. Following the last year, the Program demonstrated its effectiveness. Thus, 72 young specialists successfully completed the internship, 33 of them have got job offers.
The conditions of a new stage of the Digital Summer Program have changed. This was reported by Dauren Kereibayev, Managing Director for Digitalization and Transformation of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, during the briefing today.
According to Dauren Kereibayev, “the Digital Summer Program is not aimed at recruiting a certain number of interns for training. The main goal of the Group of Companies of Samruk-Kazyna JSC is to select qualified personnel. Thus, this year we are changing the requirements for the candidates. Now the students have to pass a 4-level selection to become an intern in the Group of Companies”.
New conditions provide for participation of the third-fourth year students of the Bachelor’s program and first-second year students of the Master’s program. It should be noted that the selection implies four levels: registration and IT online test, IT tasks by profile, ability tests and competency interviews. The important criterion is the IT interest and desire to contribute to the IT development in the Fund’s Companies.
Professional experience is not a must to participate in the internship. Basic knowledge of project management, programming, information systems and infrastructure administration, application architecture, information security principles are enough.
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree graduates of 2019-2020 can apply to the Digital Summer Internship Program at the official website of the Program http://digital-summer.sk.kz.
Collection of applications for participation in the Program will be closed on April 7, 2019.
The internship will last from June 17 to August 29, 2019 in such cities, as Astana, Almaty, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar and Atyrau. To become an intern of this Program, students must register on the official website of the program and pass the test on basic IT knowledge which includes 20 questions. Candidates who meet the criteria will be invited to the interview with representatives of the Fund’s Group of Companies. The best candidates will be invited to participate in the Internship Program. It is important to note that this year the internship is salaried.
The Internship Program developed by the Fund together with the leading IT companies will provide the interns with invaluable experience and knowledge that will give the undoubted advantage in the competitive and dynamic IT world as well as practical experience in SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, HP, IBM, Huawei products.
