May 25, Astana. Bakitzhan Zhulamanov has been appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy JSC, portfolio company of Samruk-Kazyna JSC.

Mr. Zhulamanov was the Chairman of the Management Board of Food Contract Corporation NC from July 2016.

He started his professional career in 1991, with a degree in Economics. Mr. Zhulamanov was President of Golden Grain Group PJSC (Agroindustrial corporation Golden Grain LLP) from 1998 to 2003. Starting from 2003 to 2016, he held various senior positions in the public service at Astana and Almaty mayor’s offices, the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was also Mayor of Pavlodar from 2009 to 2011.
