Chairman of the Management Board, Member of the Board of Directors of Samruk-Kazyna JSC "I believe in the power of private initiative and I know that the private sector should prevail in the economy", - said Umirzak Shukeyev, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, in his speech at the Kazakhstan privatisation forum that took place at the AEF on May 25, 2016. By implementing the privatisation programme in the next five years, the Fund will act in accordance with the new programme adopted by the Government in December 2015.

The fund will put up 217 companies for privatisation, which are divided into two lists. The first list includes 44 major assets of the Group, seven of which will be withdrawn for IPO in the period from 2018 to 2020. The second list includes 173 medium-sized companies.
