On January 20, CEO of the Fund U.Shukeyev met with the heads of portfolio companies.

The heads were introduced with the top managers of the Fund appointed in accordance with the new structure of the company. Participants also discussed the progress of the transformation program and the most important current issues.

Thus, in regards to the Privatization program rules and terms of preparation for the implementation of projects were established. In addition, the sides discussed measures to develop the financial sustainability of the current economic situation. Umirzak Shukeyev emphasized the need to move from various scenarios directly to practical use in planning.

Managing Director of Finance and Operations Yelena Bakhmutova noted that the Fund is already showing the first fruits of the transformation and should be seen by the portfolio companies «not as a supervisory body or superstructure, and above all, as partner who helps to develop and implement the best solutions.»

The heads of portfolio companies, in turn, welcomed the introduction of the new structure of the Fund, noting that it was «understandable and inspiring.» Following the example of the corporate center in the framework of the transformation all the group of companies are expected to develop and transfer to new functional models and organizational structures.
